but it wore out fairly quickly if used to scrape off an old gasket.
I'm not sure I expected too much of it given the plastic and all, but it wore out pretty quickly when used to scrape old gaskets off aluminum engine parts. In the end I managed to remove most of the old gasket, but the scraper lost its sharpness very quickly. As this will be my first plastic scraper I wasn't sure what to expect, I just didn't want to use a metal scraper on my aluminum parts.
