I think technically these things are called wheel stabilizers not wheel chocks. But the bottom line is, if you have a two-axle trailer, there's no better way to protect it than these. I've tried heavy rubber pads that look like pyramids and the ones that fit inside each other and they just don't inspire the confidence I get locking my trailer wheels with these sway bars. I made a short video to show exactly how they work, but apart from the function I can confirm that they are really well made. The middle ratchet is two strong blocks of aluminum holding everything together and the whole assembly is very solid. All screws are hex head with nylon lock washers and a matching hex key is even included should you wish to make any adjustments. A major advantage of this particular model over others I've seen is that this one comes with a built in ratchet. Just like a socket wrench, there's a plane you turn to loosen or tighten the sway bars against the wheels. And because the mechanism is completely built in, I never have to search for a wrench or an outlet when we're trying to camp somewhere. I'm really impressed with how solid they feel and how well they fit snugly around the wheels.
