Review on Kwikset Juno Entry Knob with SmartKey - Venetian Bronze (97402-737) by Dan West

Bought 4 for the previous house. They each had the key slot reversed for my application with a door with a doorknob to the right of the key side. I ordered a tool to pull out the lock cylinder to rotate it, which works fine. I've moved and got 3 more for the new house and of course the key slots still come out the wrong way around and the tool I had is still in the box somewhere. You can learn on YouTube how to use a couple of screwdrivers to pry out the key cylinder to rotate it 180 degrees, but it took me over an hour to get the first one out, the second half as long, but I'm not a fan of the company because of this. A tool must be supplied or locks must be sold with the desired keyway orientation. The company's website has instructions on how to change the key socket orientation with their tool, but this information is not easy to find. You can also find a video on how to open this keyless lock with a special tool. The lock looks high quality and is easy to assemble. I visited three local shops that also sell locks of this model, but none of them sold a special tool. By the way, the reverse key slot does not affect the function. So if this doesn't bother you, it's not a problem.
