I use this tool every day and it hasn't failed yet. I have a spring loaded version (#8-16AWG Solid) that completely replaces my various small wire strippers. It cuts through wire with ease and its needle end is ideal for twisting wire into a loop. I of course still have my Kleins Lineman for heavy cutting/bending/self defense/hammering/etc. I can get the job done with this tool for 80% of the tasks. It's nice not having to switch tools when switching tasks - definitely a time saver. I had no problems with stiffness. I highly recommend soaking it in WD40 over the weekend if you're having trouble. I've done this on a couple of rusted small dams and in 2 days they were buttery soft. Definitely recommend this to anyone who cuts/strips/bends a lot of wire. It is a strong and sturdy tool, like most Klein products. You can literally feel the workmanship when you hold it in your hands. Will buy again when hell freezes over and it really breaks.
