Neoflam Flutto Bamboo Chopping Board 11" with Non-Slip Edges and Drip Groove This is a nice little bamboo chopping board that now gives me a full set of all sizes for all my cooking needs. Bamboo is very hard compared to conventional wooden floorboards and is also resistant to bacteria and moisture. This is a great size for cheese and crackers, fruit and more. I love this pen. You can use it to hang your board if you like. It has grooves for collecting juice and non-slip edges that prevent the board from slipping. This is a really nice board. Like all bamboo planks, it needs to be primed before first use. You soak it in edible mineral oil, wipe off the mineral oil, and repeat the process two more times before using it for the first time. You'll need to repeat this process about every month or when your board looks dry. Sounds like a lot of work, but it isn't. and it will extend the life of your board. Handwash only. Just some soap and water is all you need. I checked my board for shrapnel etc and found nothing. It was nice and smooth. As long as I like it It feels like a high quality cutting board.
