Quality Duraspark ignition upgrade for my 1988 Jeep YJ Wrangler 4.2L. Many YJ owners use the HEI distributor but I preferred to keep my original Duraspark distributor and go for the Digital 6AL MSD Ignition as it offers a much better quality with more features and benefits. Some of these are multiple sparks, built in adjustable rev limiter, powerful spark at higher revs, lower starting voltage and additional features like the ability to add a variable timing module later if you need to slow down/advance on fly. If you're really serious about your Jeep and want top-notch ignition, look no further, the MSD 6425 is the perfect box for your trip.
