Meguiar's has added another arrow to their set of outstanding detailing tools! This item arrived exactly as advertised and worked exactly as I expected. Great soft start feature, feels very comfortable in my hands and works like a professional tool. I ordered a DBP5, 5" carrier plate to go with it as that is my preferred carrier size. I would recommend that you order a backing plate and washer of your choice as these do not come with a washer or backing plate. Most users already have their preferred base plate size in their parts bag, but just in case you are unsure about ordering the base plate and shims. I have started washing the car to remove loose dirt, and then moved on to the Meguiar Kit G1016 Smooth Surface Clay for dirt removal. I then used the Meguiar DMCKIT5 DA Microfiber Correction System Kit to remove some of the imperfections as I had some fairly obvious scratches on the clear coat. The DA microfiber corrective compound used with the new MT300 worked extremely well and quickly removed scratches and swirls in my black paint. The finishing wax in the kit gave my paint the right finishing touch and created an incredibly dark, reflective, swirly free color. which didn't take long with the MT300 and DA Micr fiber wax pad. For my next project I will be ordering a new Meguiar DFC5, 5" DA Foam cut-off wheel and a new DFP5, 5" DA Foam polishing wheel. It would be nice to compare these new foam pads to the DA microfiber pads which I like. I also like the new skid plates with a white indicator line to show if the pad is spinning or pushing too hard while working on the machine. I highly recommend the new Meguiar MT300 Pro Power DA polisher.
