Errors need to be corrected

We have not had the device for a long time because it does not work as advertised. On the other hand, its best feature was that, as advertised, it worked decently with older cameras and cameras from other manufacturers. . This puts it a whole class above the TigerSecu TS-2MP-402T16-2TB, which advertises the same features but doesn't work with legacy cameras or cameras from other manufacturers. On the other hand, the worst feature was the inability to export editable video files. It's important to be able to edit the video files to reduce them to "fine detail" so that they're small enough to email to the police when it's serious, or to friends when You want to share what the raccoons did last night. The device exported files normally in MP4 format, but they could not be edited on the PC (using DVR resources in real time, trying to edit the same files on the DVR and pretending to still watch the cameras is a bad idea). The other option was to export to AVI format. This generated an "Error" message which was useless - it just said "Error", giving no error codes or any clue as to why it happened. The same error also occurred when I tried two different FAT32 formatted USB sticks and an NTFS formatted USB hard drive. We edit exported AVI files almost daily on our current system (a five year old Q-See QT5682 DVR was looking for a replacement), which means Annke is at least five years behind Q-See in DVR development. support is useless. They asked me to take some screenshots which I provided but then they didn't answer me and effectively closed the application without even informing me about the screenshots they asked for! -Way, but their suggestions were to "try a flash drive" if the hard drive didn't work, and then "try another flash drive" if the first flash drive didn't work. As mentioned above, the DVR does not record on any of these three storage media. After exhausting our ideas, we asked to return the device. So we send the device back. Obviously, the dash cam has never been "tested," and we're looking for a security system, not the new Annke dash cam troubleshooting craze.
