Worked fine for me.
This tool helped me remove my old 1" 34mm threaded headset. I had to spread the ends of the tool a bit, but it only took a few seconds. I was able to remove the headset in less than a minute of work. This tool isn't particularly heavy, but when I used it I didn't feel like it really mattered. It didn't seem to last long. Strength to remove the headset, so I think the strength of this tool is good enough.
