Review on 🖥️ Sabrent Premium USB 3.0 Hub with Card Reader (12" Cable) for iMac, MacBooks, Mac Mini, PC - HB-MACR by Sean Webb

I have bought this hub before, USB only. I used it for a USB 3.0 extension on a legacy Mac Pro (I installed a PCIx card first to give it 3.0 speed). With only two ports on the back of the unit, I needed a useful extension somewhere. I also had an external hard drive enclosure that I used as a card reader. I swear I was looking for an all in one solution but found it at Revain a few weeks later. I had to get it. It sits well on my desk. Not too heavy so easy to knock over, but sturdy enough. It's great to have all the features I need in an easily accessible little device. I didn't realize how clumsy my previous system was. As for speed, I'm not sure if it's 3.0. This is sufficient in most cases. I read the review, can't remember if it was for this or an earlier model I had, but there was a limitation that it could only reach USB 3.0 speeds with one device connected. I can confirm that it does indeed work, at least for a while. Miscellaneous. I'm not sure if it was an issue with the hub or the device (USB stick) that was causing the slowdown. Regardless, I have three sometimes 3.0 USB ports on my desk, plus an SD, Micro SD, and COMPACT FLASH card reader! This is a great solution. I'd love to hear comments from others about their speed (especially those trying to get the most out of a Mac Pro).
