The quality of this brace seems quite nice. The material feels sturdy and the brace part is strong. It stays in place and the fasteners can be easily adjusted in 3 places. That being said, this brace doesn't fit me that well. I have De Quervain's tenosynovitis (causing thumb and wrist pain) and I find that this brace goes up too far on my hand. Specifically, this brace comes up too high on my pinky knuckle, preventing me from full range of motion with that finger. This ends up making it difficult and painful to type. I have been buying Wellgrate for women braces and they don't have this issue, so I plan to stick with that brand. The other issue with the BERTER brace is that it has a strong smell that remained on my hand even after I took it off. Maybe that will dissipate over time, but I aired it out for 3 days and the smell is still strong.
