Review on ๐Ÿš— Quick-Strut 171281 Strut and Coil Spring Assembly by Monroe Shocks & Struts by John Beltran

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great easy to install product.

Actually bought front and rear. They arrived nicely boxed with warning stickers saying the nut should not be removed from the top and as I bought assemblies so I didn't have to screw in the compression springs I'm guessing these are for the less savvy . They come with stock hardware for the top only. So if your bottom screws are rusty, you still need to buy them. (Because mine was fine I just reused the old stuff). It took less than 2 hours to do all 4 struts. You must install the top before screwing on the bottom. You'll need to knock the bottom bolt out from the front as it's threaded after you remove the side of the nut. A nut is welded to the back of the bracket from the side of the wheel. If you have the tools, it's easy. Remember to reconfigure the front after this repair. No problems after installation and the car drives much better!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something
