I recently got my hands on a 93 foot Infiniti J30 T for my 16 year old daughter. because it's been over 25 years since I've had to deal with a car wash result and a telescopic antenna, you know. Today I am very happy that I came across this solution, not a telescopic antenna replacement but a conversion kit. I LIKE THIS! I will not replace the antenna AFTER A CAR WASH - I hope this antenna is car wash safe. as can be seen from the description. or what is the guarantee if it breaks? Anyway - replacement would be easier if I had a nut tool, but you're doing it right. The only thing I would add to the instructions is to remember to remove the "old black hard rubber" bushing before attempting a final install. I hope this helps someone a little as I'm crying ahead of time. Thanks for the solution! VMancini
