I used this wrench to remove the oil filter on a 1994 Chevy K1500 pickup truck with a 5.7 liter engine that I recently purchased. I couldn't find a wrench for this filter so an Allen wrench was a good choice. This filter can be adjusted to a variety of sizes. It worked well in tight spaces. The supplied adapter from 3/8" to 1/2" is practical. The biggest downside to this wrench is that you really need to be able to use it with two hands until you start biting your jaws into the filter glass. The wrench itself can be used to loosen or tighten (if needed), but the filter glass I removed was badly dented from sponges. This may have to do with how tight it was tightened (the more torque you apply to the ratchet or crowbar, the tighter the jaws will grip the filter). Conclusion: The product is well made and easy to use. The only downside was that it required 2 hands to start.
