Works well but is being sold used as new.
I installed the mount just under the seat on my wife's bike and it works as expected. The child seat is connected directly. My problem is that I bought a new unit and it showed obvious signs of having been previously installed on the bike and used before. Probably a returned device that was refilled unnoticed. The surface was badly scratched and had visible cuts.
