Review on AlorAir Replacement Basement Dehumidifiers Sentinel by Jun Merritt

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is no ordinary dehumidifier designed more for form than function

This dehumidifier is designed to effectively and efficiently remove moisture from the air. Located in our unfinished 1,200-square-foot basement, it easily maintains a humidity level of 58% (which we set as a benchmark). This dehumidifier has a more industrial look than the white composite dehumidifiers sold in the big department stores. It is heavy and not easy to move from place to place. It's quiet, energy efficient, and has a removable metal filter (although we bought two other filters). The only downside for us was that the hose that came with the kit wasn't long enough to reach the drain so we had to buy a 10" hose from the hardware store for about $5 so it wasn't a big one Matter. It's easy to use and definitely designed for function, not looks. He does what he claims to do very well.

Pros
  • Home and Kitchen
Cons
  • Legacy Model
