It is not permanent but lasts longer than a spray. Just me. Use it. For accents, so that the can lasted me for a while. You only have a minimum amount of time to leave it at the application. So it won't damage your hair if you leave it on longer. That means you can. Repeat the application as often as necessary. It will gradually wash out. But the lightness is amazing! It's a thick substance, almost like conditioner in consistency. So it doesn't splash. I love it and recommend it for semi-permanent color. The only wish is that they make it in permanent color.
