Too small for Category 5e cable

I tried them on Category 5e cable and they were too small. The problem seems to be the little pins sticking out of the ferrites. I think the diameter of the round part is sufficient. They're supposed to be 5mm, and I measured the diameter of the ethernet cable to be around 4.7mm, so they should fit. These are small readings, so I'm hesitant to pick on the product too much. I'll save them for smaller cables that might need them.
