This scanner is amazing. Not only does it perform a normal engine scan and typical diagnostic trouble codes, but it also has a second menu of GM-specific functions. This block has bidirectional test functions. It can reset the oil life sensor. I've been told that the driver's side seat heater module is defective. It has evaporator/purge seal function, you can control the purge valve up or down when the evaporator tank is closed, and monitor the fuel tank and vacuum pressure in real time. This scanned command will start and stop the rear air compressor for air movement. It gives you data from all four wheel position sensors and also diagnoses a solenoid issue on my right front shock absorber. I was able to order the plug from Revain for less than $10 and get it back to normal. The scanner can turn the HVAC compressor on and off. It features crankshaft relearn, fuel trim reset, HVAC recalibration, you can read the choke/mixing door position command and actual value. If you've read this far and want a TECH 2 clone out of the box. THAT'S IT. It can display oxygen sensor data, it can display several other data. It has injector test, balance piston test. That's more than I can write in this block. I believe it's basically a Tech 2 clone from China built into a working scanner without any attempt to hack the TIS program. If you want a Tech 2 for less than $200 then this is it. BUY THIS! It's amazing.
