The device does not slowly lower the tailgate all the way. On the first pull of the handle, the tailgate opens quickly to about 60%, then the rate of fall causes the attachments to twitch and slow. This worries me about breaking components due to stuttering. It slows down the tailgate. You just need to slow it down for the first part of fall. Kind of lesions aim to have the device.
