Works great. Excellent fit for the Dodge Ram 1500. Some people said it was difficult to use on this truck but I didn't find that to be the case. yellow plastic plug next to the keyhole, about 1 inch from it. The cover's standard cord plugs directly into the outlet. This does not affect the function of the lid, since the yellow lid cover is mainly decorative.
