Compared to Flip5: Charge5 plays softer, the sound is more lively due to the presence of a tweeter. Yes, the dimensions are not among the "put in your pocket." I bought it as a constant companion within the apartment to create a pleasant acoustic accompaniment. A large battery provides excellent autonomy, because initially there was a reserve for recharging external devices, the function for me is just not fundamental. The color of the column is awesome, dark blue, not "pull out your eyes", but pleasant, close to gray (it's hard to take pictures with a phone, it looks gray most often). The column is very stable on the surface, and, strange as it may seem, it stands perfectly, if necessary, at the ends. The materials are very pleasant to the touch. Elastic buttons with a clear click. Fast and stable connection in conjunction with Samsung A52. Sound - you need to understand that this is not a studio equipment or a hi-end system. But at the same time, the sound is clear, lively, not "blurred", without resonances, with pleasant bottoms and soft high frequencies. I have already mentioned Flip5 in my review and I will repeat here - it is worth adjusting the equalizer for yourself. I saved the setting for Flip5 for Charge5 as well - this option, to my ears, and here it nicely leveled the sound (I attach a screenshot of the equalizer settings of the Samsung music program in the photo). Should I take a column? For home, yes. Great standalone option for background listening. With itself on the nature/dacha - also norms. But carrying it with you is constantly heavy and inconvenient (there are no handles or attachments for the shoulder strap at all). I personally do not see analogues. In such a form factor, it makes no sense to look for 2.0, 2.1, etc. systems, it's just pointless. And here is an excellent mono-sound in two-way performance. The column is definitely worth the money.
