I recently received a narrow lightning strike that destroyed most of the equipment connected to the phone lines. Both of my Win7 computers could not connect to the internet using the new modem provided by the ISP. Both internal Ethernet devices were found to be faulty, requiring a different connection method. I ordered one of these adapters on Tuesday 9/7/19 and received it the next day. Plugged in, followed the instructions to install the built in device driver and was back online 5 minutes later. Ordered a second one for my other computer and same thing. Plug and Play and online again. The device is well made with gold plated USB connectors and uses Realtek internals and software which are known to be the best in the business. I can't comment on suitability for use with other devices, so I recommend you try it before you buy. Although for my purpose. Highly recommended.
