Perfect replacement for my 1999 RX-300
This has worked great for me and gives correct outside air temperature readings to within a few degrees. My old part didn't testify until the mid 1950's. I'm not sure if this is a genuine Toyota part but I'm sure it will last the rest of my car's life. Removing the old sensor (which is located under/behind the driver's side front bumper) was a little tricky - you basically have to break the white plastic tab to get it out. Also, disconnect the sensor cable before attempting to pull it out (just pull it straight out, there's no clip or anything, no matter what it looks like).
