Review on Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice Arctic 195/60 R15 88T winter by Jnis Krmi ᠌

Not a bad purchase, worth the money.

Pereobul wife's car Hyundai Getz in them. My wife travels recently, so I decided not to save money. After installing new tires on new wheels, carrying out educational work on running in, etc. drove home in good spirits. I was a little surprised by the noise, quite loud, despite the fact that the speed did not exceed 50 km / h. There is nothing to compare with. I had Camry and Nokia H4 - there was no noise. But in the Camry and the insulation is an order of magnitude higher). In the morning a call - save, the car does not go - the wheel is all broken! I’m coming . and really . everything is in the trash! (They took it to the service, everyone is also interested there, the model is new, what could be. and my dear, not realizing why, rode it). And the disk later, too, in the trash. The examination naturally did not understand anything, the representatives of the Goodyear type themselves came. They concluded - like flying into a hole, a disk is bent, etc. (although I know there are no holes in the way))). Bought a new wheel. With a week away, I look at the spikes. There isn't one! The appearance of the others alerted me . The spikes have a massive metal plate (a platform so that the spike does not fall into the depth of the tread). So all these plates are pretty much worn out. Despite the fact that their thickness is only 1.5-2 mm (I understood this from the socket where the spike fell from) I got the impression that the name justified itself. A tire for ice and snow, and when driving on asphalt, the spikes suffer greatly. Let's see what happens next, wait for the snow.

Pros
  • The tread and structure of the stud promise good performance on ice and snow. Price.
Cons
  • Noise. There is nothing to compare with.
