Not worth the best in starters
I bought this starter for my 83 JD 216 with a 16hp engine, it fits and was pretty good but it was a heavy drain on the battery, was sluggish Turn the engine over, after just two attempts. (wait a few minutes between starts) I'm not happy, now I have to pull the whole engine out of the tractor to replace this thing again!
