I bought this to replace my original air filter for my CR-Z. This is an easy replacement that requires no tools. Anyone can do it. There are four clips on the air intake cover (at the front of the engine). 1) Unscrew these four clips by hand 2) Open the cover 3) Remove the old filter 4) Install the new K&N filter 5) Leave the cover on 6) Done. Don't spend more than five minutes. My dealer wants over $40 for a paper filter. I now have a permanent K&N filter and saved $6 this time. And many dollars ahead. Thanks K&N Cleaning Advice: I used to have a complete K&N intake system on my truck. Here's what I did when the K&N filter needed cleaning. I bought a second K&N filter and a K&N cleaner at the time. This is because your old filter will take about 24 hours to dry after you clean it. You don't want to put in a cleaned filter while it's still wet. Most people cannot guarantee that they will not need their car within 24 hours. So consider buying a second one while cleaning. And after that, just put them in and out for the life of your vehicle.
