Instructions suck but it works

For the price it's really great. The first time I had to remove the valve springs, this thing honestly made it stupidly easy. Everything is relatively solid, but I wouldn't risk using a smack on it. The instructions are damn bad too. Don't even bother to read them. Slide the aluminum piece upside down, slide the steel piece over it in a "T" shape (after putting the long bolt through the bottom), then adjust the spring compression on top and start tightening. The "T" element has a top and a bottom, but this is not mentioned in the instructions or on the product itself. You will know which side is which when you put the compressor part on and it is not properly aligned with the springs. Just flip it over and I suggest scratching or writing "Top" on the right side.

Pros
  • Precision CNC machine, this valve spring compression kit is a big help in removing old valve springs and installing new valve springs.
Cons
  • Expandable
