Instructions suck but it works

For the price it's really great. The first time I had to remove the valve springs, this thing honestly made it stupidly easy. Everything is relatively solid, but I wouldn't risk using a smack on it. The instructions are damn bad too. Don't even bother to read them. Slide the aluminum piece upside down, slide the steel piece over it in a "T" shape (after putting the long bolt through the bottom), then adjust the spring compression on top and start tightening. The "T" element has a top and a…

Works great for Springs

The tool doesn't come with instructions, but if you have some common sense and master the tool, it's easy to figure it out. Just say you have a threaded rod pointing up to use the nut and washer. Does the angle look right? great, let's go! unless? Hmm, try flipping it over and reinstalling the screw lol. Watch out for the price. It…

Decent tool - good value for money

This tool is a lot cheaper than brand name tools but you get what you pay for when you buy good ones for everyday use, for a weekend warrior this is your tool. This particular tool with the supplied gasket will not fit properly on a 5.3 liter Vortec truck engine. I've found that removing the spacer and placing the backing plate on top of the valve cover boss (stud) allows for proper alignment, but be careful not to tighten the bolts in the rocker arm threads by simply hand tightening, perhaps…
