I was so excited about it. But they were very disappointing. I'm a beginner knitter and my girlfriend lent me her needles. I decided it was time to get myself. When I received them I couldn't understand why it was so difficult to get stitches. When I tried to pull the hook out it wasn't smooth. I looked at the new needles and the ones my neighbor had loaned me. These are very smooth and the other one I used was probably a more expensive needle. Has these really sharp edges. Lesson learned. It doesn't seem that difficult. You should be able to make a crochet hook like this without spending a lot of money. Instead, these companies seem to make things that look like crochet hooks with no function. I took a photo to clarify. I will also say that although I initially liked the handles, they prevent me from picking up many stitches on the knitting needle at once.
