I had a couple of DVI monitors that I wanted to use with Raspberry Pi 2+3 boards for student education and I was looking at some inexpensive monitors. Cheap HDMI-to-DVI adapters will do. Yes it works, but the adapters are wide enough to block 1/8" audio outputs from Raspberry Pi boards. The solution for me was to buy a pair of 6 foot adapter cables with an HDMI connector on one end and DVI-D on the other. I still give this product 5 stars because it is a well-made video connectors. But Raspberry Pi 2/3 users beware: you tend to lose the audio connection, even with the 1/8" 90° audio jack I use. That one caveat aside, great product!
