So this is a 7/8 inch socket (judging by the stamp on it). I put it on the O2 sensor on my car and started trying to unscrew the sensor. The socket didn't fit very well, was dangling. It ended up stretching around the sensor and slipping off (my knuckles didn't appreciate that). I didn't use a breaker on it and it didn't burn out the sensor. I ended up having to use a 7/8" box end wrench to remove it (and it came off without heat, so the socket should have worked if it did fit). I haven't even tried using it for a clean install.
