Review on Everpure EV9612 22 I2000 Filter Cartridge by Antonio Bacon

I use this filter for water going to the ice maker. and I have had an ice maker for 10 years. Change the filter every 12 months or as needed. So always keep an extra supply ready. Never had a problem with this brand or product. I'm just surprised they don't have the same supplier. Bought from AMAZON 6-8 months ago, all sealed, like new, with booklet. I just left it as a spare. Now 6 months later when I opened it up to replace the old one I was completely surprised. Photos are attached, under the black cover was a used filter with loose and moving parts inside. and from above it came out like a black powder. Signs of wear can also be seen on the side. So the return period has passed, but at least I want them to know and find out who they are buying from.
