A coated pan was less important to me than a solid, well-balanced pan. I was very surprised at how non-stick it is. Honestly, I have a hard time greasing a pan with butter or olive oil because that pan repels everything. Just to be clear, you should still use some butter or butter in a nonstick skillet, don't expect miracles, but this is my new favorite. The pan is an inch smaller than the regular sized pans I'm used to. I'm also shocked at how cheap it was. I was absolutely willing to spend up to $60 to get a pan I was happy with and after reading the reviews it stood out from much more expensive pans.
