The updated foldable version of the silicone insert was a good idea in theory. However, because the silicone insert folds when folded, the potty seat legs cannot be folded down without pushing the silicone insert out of the potty. The updated silicone insert does not attach to the pot like the old version of the silicone insert. It doesn't stick at all, just sits in the pot, which poses a problem when trying to pour out the contents of the silicone insert. He fails. I will be returning these and ordering the pot and the older version of the silicone insert separately. I hope that the manufacturer will return to the old model with a silicone insert.
