Review on 🚘 Road Top Android 10 Car Stereo for Mercedes Benz E Class S212 W212 - 10.25" Touch Screen, Wireless Carplay, Split Screen, 4GB RAM - 2009-2014 Year by Sean Powers

This is a great upgrade for 2010 Mercedes E550 (W212) and below is the first feedback after installing the product for a day. The seller answered my questions promptly before purchasing. I was concerned that the device would support both the factory rear camera and the OEM night vision front camera (both work fine). The product came much earlier than expected. It was shipped within 1-2 business days after payment and took about 5 days in total to reach USA even during the coronavirus shutdown. On arrival I used the instructions and video provided to disassemble the relevant parts of the glove box. and dash, and then install the new display. This process took a few hours as I was careful not to damage the dash or the various hidden clips and cables. I ran into an issue where initially there was no sound coming out of the left speakers, but the seller (Oliver) spent a couple of hours during two evening chat sessions helping me fix the issue. I am happy to report that the issue has been resolved and the device is working great. It was fairly easy to assemble the dash and glove box after installing the GPS and Wi-Fi antennas. Running additional cables for the USB inputs was also fairly easy. I would rate the installation difficulty a 3/5, but mostly due to the fact that I'm not familiar with how Mercedes mounts trim parts in a car. OEM location. It has good brightness, color reproduction and viewing angles. The car gets very hot under the Florida sun, but so far there have been no problems with the display. GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity is excellent with the antennas installed and I haven't seen any issues in this regard so far. Pairing with the included Zlink app for the first time takes a few minutes. The device does everything that was promised. The wireless carplay function works great and the full Android operating system allows me to install other apps if needed. I was able to play videos from the internet, access Waze via the Carplay menu, and play music via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. It adds all these new features to the touchscreen while retaining access to the original Mercedes user interface, while still allowing you to use the steering wheel buttons and dial to control everything. my teenager and wanted to update it to help her keep her phone out of her hands while driving. That alone is worth the price of the device, but having all the modern features is really great. The excellent support from the Roadtop team was greatly appreciated and was a key factor in our satisfaction with the entire transaction.
