Review on Lewisia Submersible Fountain Pump with LED Light - Adjustable Flow for Garden, Pond, Waterfall, Aquarium, Fish Tank, Statuary, Pool, Bird Bath - 211 GPH by Amanda Smith

Need a pump for a small hand made water wheel suspended over a small wooden waterproof tank 3ft long x 1ft high to seal the front yard decorate. Water lift no higher than 2.5 feet. I couldn't even do that and the rating is much higher. Before purchasing I thought it would be cool as this pump comes with a bright LED light. How cool is it to light up the water wheel from the bottom up from the tank. The whole thing is submersible, attached to the pump under water. The pump wore out within a week. I worked 10 hours a day on a timer. Started making noise on day 3. Periodic enable/disable start/stop. Go back on the 4th and the outage will stop working on the 5th day. Even though I had all sorts of "filters" the water going into the pump was cleaner than the aquarium so dirt doesn't get into the pump. If you're looking for a ROBUST that performs as advertised and won't fall apart within a week, then keep looking for another pump.
