This kit itself is simple, lowering the gearbox rear crossbar and bracket to bring you back to the original gearbox angle once the lift kit is installed . I installed and ran a 2" jack before installing this cross member lowering kit and have experienced vibration, noise and a sticky feel in the transmission. I installed this lowering kit and the vibration, noise and sticking are gone. The kit is simple and easy to install, especially on early models that use 4 bolts to hold the crossbar in place. If you find you have bolts on 2 mounting points, try finding a cam bolt remover that hooks onto the crowbar and pull it out. The cleats have a center shoulder that doesn't fit into the saddle and was screwed in tight at the factory. I tried doubling the nut and back of the new one and it just stripped the threads. Drill.
