Review on 🚰 Efficient Replacement Filter for General Electric GXULQR Kitchen by Chad Chavez

Have been using this filter model for 5 years with no problems - up until the last two filter cartridges (purchased in January 2017 and February 2017) that I bought from this seller. The water flow slowed to a very slow level after only five weeks. Previously, this filter lasted for 6 months (with the same frequency of use). I will not be buying this again as it appears something has changed with the cartridge resulting in it only lasting six weeks. Updated 04/24/17. I bought the same cartridge from a big store and this filter has been working fine for about 4 weeks with no water pressure drop. Since the store bought version appears to work as intended, I am beginning to suspect that there is something wrong with the cartridges being sold through this vendor. Updated 5/6/17. He spoke too soon. The same filter (GXULQR) I bought from a big store stopped working after 5 weeks (and water barely seeps through the filter). the model is defective and that this is not a problem with this seller. I would not recommend this filter to anyone.
