Review on 🚲 Hiplok DX U-Lock: Unbeatable Wearable Maximum Security for Cyclists by Darryel Tokarczyk

I bought this key because it has a laser cut key (no teeth on the outside of the key) that won't cut into my pants pockets like any other U-Lock key except OnGuards - combined with the fact that it is 14 mm steel. The key is intimidating - thick and unlikely to break in the lock. I use it to attach a rear wheel to a bike frame and to replace a chain that might get cut. A 14mm lock is unlikely to be cut through by anyone with bolt cutters, especially in tight spaces: the inside length from the bolt to the inside of the U-edge is 5 and 7/8 inches when the lock is closed. The Hiplok Dx D weighs 2 lbs 7.2 oz. through the US Postal Service. I carry it in a bag behind my bike. I use a different brand U-lock, longer and wider to attach the bike to the bar. (There are also laser-cut keys.) A great combination that encourages thieves to better manage their time elsewhere. Very happy with this purchase.
