Bought these 2 years ago and they're still hanging! That's a great price for what I paid. The little black ring at the top of the handle rotates (which I didn't notice until last summer). Ideal for toasting 2 marshmallows at the same time. A few tips for the perfect s'more: 1) Place a 1/2 gram chocolate cracker (6 Hershey packs) on a rock by the fire to slowly soften it almost to the point of melting as you prepare marshmallows. 2) Put 1-2 marshmallows on a stick. Do not dip the marshmallow directly into the flame, cook alongside the red coals, they are hotter than the flame and provide even heat to fully cook the marshmallow with no burnt/charred taste. 3) Slowly turn the broth so it cooks evenly. until the marshmallow stops spinning with the stick. If the inside of the marshmallow sticks to the stick, RETURN IT, IT'S NOT READY! When the marshmallow slides off the stick with no residue, then you know it's cooked, be patient. It's worth it! 4) Put boiled marshmallows on a gram cracker with slightly melted chocolate and put another gram cracker on top. Perfect s'more! FYI, you can use Peeps in a pinch (if the gas station doesn't have marshmallows), a fun alternative for kids (adults). Enjoy!
