Review on Performance Intake 57 2581 Lifetime 2011 2014 by Steve Quinn

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Best cold air intake I could get

and I have no regrets at all. I installed it drunk and cut off a 3/8" vacuum tube instead of a thin one, so I had to get a piece from an auto parts store, but even drunk it was incredibly easy to install. Before the install I got about 15 mpg city. and now I'm at about 16.5 city. Others have complained that it's too loud on the freeway, it's only vaguely "loud" when you step on the gas, otherwise it adds a great sound under the hood added. Don't fit an exhaust on my truck anymore. The only thing I recommend is to install it once and drive for a while, check the connection of all the pipes because mine came loose so make sure they are very tight afterwards are vibrating a little.

Pros
  • TORQUE MONITOR TESTED: Tested on a dyno for guaranteed power and acceleration without the need for ECU tuning
