The air conditioning worked intermittently at best. I used the iCarSoft scanner for Mercedes - another Revain purchase - which diagnosed regulator/resistor issues. Using a couple of torx bits I was able to remove the two large security screws under the glove box, then the four cover screws, and finally the other four holding the fan. The fan looked fine - I sprayed some electronics cleaner on the areas where the dust had settled and rubbed them with the Q-Nozzles. The two screws holding the controller are easy to unscrew. This part is of the same brand as the spare part. Voila, the air conditioner is now in perfect condition. The time will show.
