Embarrassment in front of an excellent bike computer

I am both a frequent racer and an absolute fan of gadgets. I love the 705. It's a great looking product. Once you've surpassed the premium price point, the ability to track everything and connect to ANT+ devices (like my PowerTap) is essential. Trouble is, whoever designed the bike rack should be (literally) fired. I went through three last year. I swore after the first one broke I would be more careful but it doesn't help. If you turn off the computer every day (to write a large amount of data), the mount will eventually break. And when I say finally, I mean about three months. I averaged that. If breaking them wasn't frustrating enough, getting the computer off the bike is just a hassle! You have to squeeze and wiggle while pressing the thin tab the whole time, and eventually the computer will pop out, often cutting the bracket into your arm in the process. In the meantime I will buy new mounts. Just ordered three for my two bikes (I got the last good one from another bike). 14 dollars a piece. Sigh. I encourage you NOT to repair the mount!
