Great product for the price!

Just received and installed for a 32" Panasonic LCD TV with a 200 x 200 (mostly 4 x 4") VESA mounting hole pattern on the rear. As information on these devices is somewhat sketchy almost everywhere, here are some important points to know: The device is very durable Includes a sufficient number of high quality fasteners including 3 sizes of screws to attach the device to the TV itself (If your TV didn't include it or you lost it.) - The connections are very tight on arrival, but this can easily be remedied by adjusting the tension of the bolts/nuts on the various connections. - Also includes two hex keys and another small wrench for adjusting bolt tension / NOTE that everything on it appears to be METRIC and the nut on the largest bolt is larger than the wrench provided. So you'll need an adjustable wrench or the right size socket to use it (if needed). The assembly instructions apply to a stand or cement block wall. The instructions are well written and easy to follow, but I would change the approach to the following (which I did and it worked). (I attached it to the rack with the three (out of six) included lag bolts. See the mounting hole pattern on the back of the set.) Your advice on sizing the hole for the lag bolts included in the rack was the perfect way. Some suggested mounting alternatives based on my experience: The instructions advise you to leave the device intact throughout the installation process. I wouldn't want to try this given the weight of the unit (especially with the TV attached) and the awkwardness of working at odd angles with that weight. So.- I removed the long screw that attaches the pair of arms to the single arm (paying attention to the order/position of the spacers and washers) so I can tackle both the wall and TV ends of the unit separately. - I attach Attach the plate/an arm to the back of the TV using the four screws provided. (I was thankful for this since the TV I was mounting didn't have one of its own!) - Then I removed the two screws holding the pair of arms to the wall plate, paying attention to the order/placement of the washers. This allowed me to work with just the wall plate as it's difficult enough to bolt something perfectly vertical to a pole without a couple of arms getting in the way and their added weight. - I don't think the instructions mention this, but the wall plate has a hanging hole in the middle in addition to the mounting holes on the ends. So I took advantage of this by inserting a screw into the wall halfway between where I want to place the end screws. This allowed me to "hang" the wall plate on the wall, align it vertically (with a good level) and mark the holes exactly where they should be. After attaching the wall plate to both ends with a lag screw, I simply screwed the original lag screw all the way in, which provides extra holding power!). (And after securing the wall plate with screws on both ends, I just screwed the one in the middle all the way down for extra holding power!). Once the wall panel was in place, I reattached it. two hands. All of this left a wall plate and two hands on the wall, and a hand and a TV plate were attached to the TV. - The last step: The other person was holding the TV and I put one hand between the other two. I put a bolt through each lever, washer, and spacer, attached a nut, and tightened. Done The freedom of movement is really good. The stability seems good. Slightly loosen the screw on the back for easier tilting/rotating.
