When this arrived, I wasn't sure what it was right away because the box was so big. When I'd ordered it, I looked at the photo and assumed I knew what size it was - but it was much larger than expected. This is fine, I just needed to change the place I was putting it.It arrived safely in a box that secured it well so that it wouldn't become damaged. Probably my favorite thing about it is the metal band around the outside - almost something like you'd see around a wood barrel. The arms are a bit flimsy made out of thin metal but isn't noticeable or a problem.It's pretty quiet but if the room is quiet and you're listening, you can hear a slight ticking.Hanging it was the only thing that wasn't my favorite. The "hooks" on the left and right sides weren't perfectly even, and finding the two holes in the wall to make it hang properly makes me nuts. So I took picture hanging wire and strung it between the two. Then it's easy to hang just with one well-anchored nail, etc.Overall, I'm very pleased with this. It's beautiful and we've already had compliments. Enjoy yours!
