They are great value for money and a good choice if you need them for multiple projects. I don't think they will work with harder woods but they work great with softer woods. For beginners, they're inexpensive so you can figure out which bite you might be better off using. If you need to use them frequently I would suggest buying something better. Pros: does its job. Ideal for large carpenters or odd jobs. for the price i would buy again.
