This is a Fighting/Combat Blade masquerading as a Machete! .

This is a Fighting/Combat Blade masquerading as a Machete! As someone who's had to clear Thick Brush with Machetes by hand in the 80's & 90's this SOGfari is= TOO SHORT & WAAAAAAY TOO LIGHT.You will KILL your arm having to swing it a LOT more often & harder than if you used a traditional MacheteSo WHY did I give it 4 Stars?Because as a Fighting Blade it's up there with a Tactical Bowie or Recon Tanto where being light is a must have.I wouldn't buy this Blade to clear Brush, it just isn't suited for it, I would take it to a Knife Fight though.
