This is solid kitchen inventory. I've thrown it in the dishwasher several times with no rust. It's only been a few months but I'm happy with this product so far. If there was ever a potato apocalypse where a zombie potato took over the world, this would be my weapon of choice. It breaks, kneads and does a great job. A versatile tool, I found it also works with sweet potatoes which is a nice bonus. Full disclosure, I've only tried Sweet Potato, Idaho, Yukon Gold, and Russet. The image implies it will be crushing red potatoes, but I'm not tired of it just yet.
