I bought this mount almost 3 months ago to use my smartphone as a bike computer. I've ridden my road bike about 450 miles since then with no incidents or visible wear. Obviously this is a cheaper solution so I wasn't expecting much. When he arrives, it doesn't even look like it's going to be anything special, but as it turns out, it works in his favor. The strap solution allows for attachment to a wider range of handlebars while still providing a snug fit. It also allows for easy installation and adjustment without tools. Best of all, the strap that secures the phone is a separate piece from the mount. This makes it easier to put on and take off the harness because it does not have to be attached to the bike. It fits my OnePlus 6 very snugly in the standard case, I probably wouldn't try to fit it on a much larger phone but it protects mine very well. The socket on the back of the strap fits the handlebar. Once you press and twist, the two pieces snap together and you can rotate your phone between portrait and landscape modes. Simply push and twist to release. Despite it's small, I was concerned about how secure my phone would feel, but never had to worry about it when traveling. There can be a slight rattle on rougher roads, but it's not loud or frequent enough to be bothersome. The durability also seems to surprise me, I was expecting the straps to lose some stretch by now, but they are still as strong as day one. Time will tell but so far this is a great little mount for the price.
